Womanifest Awards 2026 — A Night of Sisterhood, Celebration & Community Impact
On Friday 27th February 2026, Debbie and Heather from Art for Wellness CIC had the absolute honour of attending the very first Womanifest Awards at the beautiful Rowton Hall Spa Hotel, Chester — and what a truly unforgettable evening it was.
We are incredibly proud to share that Art for Wellness CIC were finalists for the Community Focused Business Award, selected from an amazing 700 applications. To be recognised among so many inspiring organisations and women creating positive change is a huge achievement and one we will hold close to our hearts.

How We Felt
For both Debbie and Heather, simply being nominated already felt like a win. To be recognised among hundreds of applications and invited to attend such a prestigious event was incredibly humbling.
Walking into the beautiful Rowton Hall Spa Hotel, we were filled with pride, gratitude, and a real sense of “we’ve done it.” The atmosphere, the celebration of women creating change, and the warmth in the room made the whole experience deeply meaningful.
We truly felt that Art for Wellness CIC had already achieved something special just by being there. Sharing the evening together, meeting inspiring women, and representing our community was a moment we will treasure.
It was more than an awards night — it was a reminder that the work we do matters.
A day and evening we will never forget. 💜✨

The Womanifest Awards Evening
The Womanifest Awards are so much more than an awards ceremony. They create a powerful space where women feel held, seen, and elevated by a community that stands behind them when they step forward to create change. From the moment we arrived, there was a genuine atmosphere of warmth, encouragement, and connection.
The evening was a beautiful celebration of sisterhood, connection, and joy — bringing together like-minded women for an event filled with fun, entertainment, education, wellbeing, and empowerment. Guests enjoyed inspiring speakers, a delicious three-course meal, raffle prizes, and the highlight of the evening — the glittering awards ceremony itself.
It was truly a night of empowerment, sisterhood, and celebration as we honoured the trailblazers, changemakers, and everyday heroines who are making a difference in their communities and beyond. Being in a room filled with such passion, purpose, and positive energy was both uplifting and deeply motivating.
A Powerful Voice That Truly Inspired
The speaker who truly stood out and blew us away was Amy Croxton Evans, Group Manager and Borough Commander for Manchester Fire Service. Her raw and real admissions were delivered with such honesty and courage, creating a powerful moment in the room. Amy’s openness and positive message left a lasting impact, reminding us all of the strength that comes from speaking our truth and leading with authenticity.

This heart-led award ceremony shines a light on women and teen girls who are inspiring, educating, liberating, empowering, and entertaining their communities — values that strongly align with the mission of Art for Wellness CIC.
We left the evening feeling grateful, energised, and even more committed to continuing our work supporting wellbeing through creativity across Barnsley and beyond.
Thank you to the Womanifest team for creating such a special and meaningful event — and congratulations to every finalist and winner. Your work truly matters. 💜✨
