Taster Session Thursday, 19th May 2022
Buckingham Care Home – Penistone
We are delighted to be able to support community activities for art for wellness with the “Create in the Community” scheme.
Invited to deliver a free taster session at the local residential home in Penistone so that residents can have the opportunity to be creative in a safe space.
The first session looked at simple colouring using pens and pencils on specially designed colouring pictures.
The emphasis is on adding colour to paper in their own way and style. A chance to relax and enjoy the beauty of colouring.

“It was a pleasure to see how the residents took delight and joy from colouring, engaging in conversations and supporting and encouraging them.
The final pictures are absolutely beautiful, each in its own way, and show diverse styles, from abstract to colour combination and mixing.
