Introducing Our Summer Series: The Power of 3 – Colour, Shape & Imagination
This summer, I’d like to invite you on a creative journey.

Starting Monday 13th July, we’ll be exploring The Power of 3 through a brand-new summer series focusing on Colour, Shape and Imagination. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing simple daily prompts designed to inspire creativity, encourage mindfulness and remind us that art is about expression, not perfection.
One of the questions I’m asked most often is, “What should I create?” Sometimes the hardest part is simply knowing where to begin. That’s exactly why I created this series.
Each prompt will gently guide you using three simple elements:
Colour
Colour can influence the way we feel and the way we express ourselves. Some days you may naturally be drawn to bright, energetic colours, while on other days softer, calming shades feel right. There is no correct choice. Your colours become part of your story.

Shape
Shapes are everywhere around us—in nature, architecture and the objects we use every day. Simple circles, flowing lines, spirals or geometric patterns can become the starting point for beautiful artwork. They also encourage us to slow down, notice details and enjoy the creative process.

Imagination
This is where there are no limits.
Your imagination allows you to turn an ordinary shape into something extraordinary. A circle might become the sun, a flower, an eye, a planet or something completely unexpected. Every person will see something different, and that’s what makes creativity so special.

Why the Power of 3?
When colour, shape and imagination come together, something wonderful happens.
You stop worrying about creating the “perfect” picture and begin enjoying the process instead. Your mind becomes focused on the present moment, giving you space to relax, reflect and simply create.
Therapeutic art isn’t about artistic ability. It’s about making time for yourself, expressing your thoughts and emotions, and discovering that creativity can support your wellbeing.
Join Me This Summer
From Monday 13th July, I’ll be sharing regular creative prompts across our community. You can take part using whatever materials you have at home—pencils, pens, paints, collage materials or even digital art.
There are no rules.
No expectations.
No pressure.
Just an invitation to spend a few minutes each day reconnecting with your creativity.
I’d love you to share your artwork in our community too. Seeing how different people interpret the same prompt is always inspiring, and together we can encourage one another to keep creating.
